XBLINK has taken the cereus network by storm over the past month as he rode out one of the sickest heaters in online history. His identity is not certain, however two plus two member, ‘89blist’, has claimed to be cereus’s XBLINK, and the short account he gave of how he amassed his large bankroll was truly amazing. Apparently, XBLINK entered an $11 MTT on the 11th November and took 1st place for a $745 prize and ground this to a whopping 6-figure bankroll playing PLO in just 5 days! From the sixth day onwards, he has been playing $25/$50 up to $200/$400 and hit a career peak of $578,579 in just over a month.
His heater continued this week as he earned a staggering $588,190.07 in just 4 days of playing the best high stakes players on cereus.
A 7 hour session yesterday bagged him a $198,483.85 win at the $100/$200 PLO tables. The biggest casualties were PXFACTOR, who lost $104,294.85, and S ON MY CHEST, who dropped $46,223.50.
The deck ran cold for S ON MY CHEST when he flopped top pair top kicker against XBLINK’s middle pair. S ON MY CHEST played the flop and turn cautiously but when the river gave him top two-pair whilst XBLINK hit his runner runner flush, there was no getting away from it. S ON MY CHEST called a reraise all in on the river and XBLINK scooped a $62k pot.
The cards fell XBLINK’s way again when he flopped top pair against S ON MY CHEST’s middle pair. An action turn gave both a two-pair with XBLINK’s two-pair dominating, and a nice reraise value bet on the river from XBLINK landed him a $45k pot.
PXFACTOR defended his AJ when he called XBLINK’s continuation bet on the flop who called with his dominating AK. PXFACTOR made a good reraise on the turn, still with ace high, and XBLINK made the call. PXFACTOR bet the river when an ace hit and got the bad news as XBLINK called to take down the $61k pot. Could PXFACTOR have fired that 3rd barrel if they both missed the river?
XBLINK won the biggest pot of the session when he called a 4bet and hit top pair on the flop against PXFACTOR’s king high. He just called PXFACTOR’s continuation bet and then shoved all in on the turn. PXFACTOR called with a flush draw and 2 over cards but the river drew blank, sending a $72k pot to XBLINK.
Virtually all poker players who ignore good bankroll management quickly go broke, but occasionally one slips through the net of variance to win big bucks and make a great story in the history book of poker. XBLINK has been close to broke a few times this month already and one can only wonder how many lives this player has left. Will it be case of blink and you’ll miss it?

he goes busto here 100% of the time.
isildur obv
Cereus has high stakes?
Must be nice to run that good….
There is always one which is why we play the game.
I hope he banks the win and goes back to the pits where we all grind it out. Once the regulars pin down his game he goes broke. Just ask Isildur.
Guys like this will always go broke. This kid had better start using his brain and stop playing nosebleed stakes against the best players he can find. I’m sure it’s exciting, but so is having a place to live with food on the table.
This is the cereus network. Nothing suspicious going on there…
Your wrong lol won tournament and started with $715? he had $200k bankroll to start with… he did a great job in 4 days!
who the f writes these articles he has no hisory of ever even playin PLO i dont understand do u just take someone with 500k plus in profit and make up some awesome fairy tale story about them
TR misses lots of hands, xblink claimed queso won 500k off him then he won 250k back, plus they need to start tracking plo, blink sat with over a mill at 500-1k limit
i was playing at the local casino the other day when i got chatting to one of the young guys at my table (who, after playing for a few hours against him, i considered quite a good player). we got chatting about online poker, and he said he plays on UB, but only because his friend stakes him. he then went on to tell me how he turned $11 into 7 figures in a little over a week – playing hours on end every day. i then asked what his screen name was, and he told me his friend was XBLINK – who i had definately heard of!
so there you go… apparently the $11 story is true, and he is on the heater of a lifetime
it’s NLH not PLO
but only an expert would tell the difference
HAHA, this story you made up of him or the guy on 2+2 made up is silly. There is no history of him grinding what so ever. He has maybe 3K total in hands under 10/20 and everyone one of those games he has a net loss. Plus he has never played PLO once.
Accept this as my application to write articles for you guys
strill think that ‘S ON MY CHEST’ is one of the best screen names out there in the high stakes online world…
re. the runner-runner flush hand, “S ON MY CHEST played the flop and turn cautiously” isn’t quite accurate, looks like he just smooth-called a complete-air-bluff check-raise to induce another bluff on the turn (or to keep the pot small if behind with only 1 pair) and of course “bet like you have it, and it will come” theory proven correct once again, of course 80% of the time XBLINK just spewed tons of chips and checks the missed river…
From 11$ too 500k but the carreer valley is -70.000$ … realy tricky isnt it ?
for the guy claiming that xblink never played plo once…they dont track plo for the cereus network. he started his heater at plo before playing the high stakes nlhe.
xblink built this city on rock and roll like they say in toronto …
