Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan emerged victorious as the biggest winner from last weekend’s online action that netted him a total of $298,128, largely at the expense of DjAdi’s and Cole South’s bankrolls. Di ‘Urindanger’ Dang also had some lucrative sessions , finishing the weekend with a profit of $271,342.75.
This weekend’s worst casualties from the Fulltilt felt were DjAdi, Cole South and Sirens who dropped $389,792, $186,625 and $103,640.60 respectively.
Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan scored a few decent wins from Cole South at the start of December, but this didn’t deter Cole from accepting another game with him on Friday morning. They played 402 hands of $100/$200 PLO that concluded with a $170,824.50 win for durrrr:
Durrrr won the largest pot of the session when he check-called the flop with a pair of kings and then an action turn gave him a set of kings whilst it gave Cole a two-pair. A check-raise from durrrr on the turn had Cole all in dead and durrrr took down the $70k pot.
Durrrr found himself on the wrong side of a coin flip when he flopped a set of 2’s against Cole’s top two-pair with the nut flush draw. Unsurprisingly the money all went in on the flop with Cole as a slight favourite. However, running 3’s completed durrrr’s full house to win the $40k pot.
Cole lost another big pot when he flopped middle pair and a flush draw against durrrr’s top pair with a dominated flush draw. Once again Cole couldn’t find his outs on the turn or river sending a $57k pot to durrrr.
Cole took down a big pot when durrrr went one raise too far preflop, allowing Cole to reraise most of his stack with pocket kings. Durrrr flopped a complete air ball but paid Cole the remains of his stack. Cole’s hand held up to complete a full house on the river and took down the $54k pot.
Durrrr played 2 sessions with DjAdi this weekend resulting in a $273,930 win for durrrr, and a ‘worst day’ record logged for DjAdi who has lost all 7 of his sessions played since Friday. They played 64 hands of $500/$1000 NLH on Friday afternoon and 164 hands of $300/$600 NLH on Saturday afternoon and even though the sessions were short, the nose-bleed stakes still caused DjAdi to give up around 1/3 of his tracked profit:
DjAdi won the biggest pot of the sessions when he flopped a full house against durrrr’s straight-flush draw. This cold deck flop had all the money in the middle with durrrr needing a lot of luck. Durrrr missed long shot outs and DjAdi won a $200k pot.
Durrrr won a big pot when he took an unorthodox approach to playing top pair with a good kicker by over-betting the flop, checking the turn, and reraising the river. His inconsistent bets got him the calls he wanted and durrrr bagged a $108k pot.
Durrrr built a big pot when he flopped a set of 2’s. He executed a nice strategy with a tricky check-raise on the turn that built the pot big enough for a well priced all in on the river. The river paired the board giving durrrr a full house and DjAdi called the all in, winning durrrr a $171k pot.
Urindanger squared off against Sirens on Saturday evening. They played 1154 hands of $200/$400 PLO and 42 hands of $500/$1000 PLO, with Urindanger coming out $119,811 better off:
Urindanger bagged the biggest pot of the sessions when he moved all in on the flop with pocket aces against Siren’s pocket queens. Urindanger’s hand held up to win him a $73k pot.
A big action flop had Urindanger and Sirens all in when Urindanger flopped top two-pair with a straight-flush draw against Siren’s top pair with wrap-straight draw. Once again Urindanger’s hand held to win him a $45k pot.
Urindanger’s luck continued as he flopped a straight-flush draw and turned the flush as Sirens caught top two-pair with a gut shot. This action turn had all the money in the middle and the river missed sirens outs, sending the $50k pot to Urindanger’s stack.
As durrrr rebuilds his bankroll and Urindanger continues to devastate others, the action has been in and out of the nose-bleed stakes which is a good sign of things to come.
