Durrrr Bags $300k in Weekend PLO Action

By Patrick Wallace - February 8th, 2010

Tom DwanDurrrr patched up his recovering bankroll with a $293k win at Fulltilt’s PLO tables this weekend and OnTheRize took a $203k nosedive just as his overall profit was close to breaking even.

Weekend Winners Weekend Losers
Durrrr $293,375 OnTheRize -$203,495
Brian Hastings $139,933 Isildur1 -$109,727
LarsLuzak $85,321 Matatuk -$93,077
Postactionflop $77,703 luvtheWNBA -$92,203
Phil Ivey $50,771 Urindanger -$81,864

Durrrr had a great session on Friday morning when he played just 71 hands of $300/$600 PLO for a $144k win against the daunting avatars of Patrik Antonius, Brain Townsend, Gus Hansen and Urindanger.

Durrrr kicked off the game with a great call when he flopped top pair against Patrik’s gut shot straight draw. They both checked the flop and Patrik took a stab at the turn which durrrr called. The river brought a flush card and Patrik attempted to represent it but durrrr called him down with just a pair of 8’s to scoop the $30k pot.

Durrrr claimed his biggest pot when he flopped top pair with a straight-flush draw against Brian’s pocket kings. The money all went in on the flop and durrrr spiked his flush on the turn to win the $79k pot.

Gus caught pocket kings at the wrong time when he moved all in preflop and durrrr showed him pocket aces. Neither hand improved by the river and durrrr took down a $75k pot.

Postflopaction achieved an impressive feet on Thursday evening by taking Urindanger for $437k over 2038 hands of $200/$400 PLO. Urindanger has a super solid profit graph and a fierce reputation in his heads up games so hats off to Postflopaction who is still riding a mega hot streak.

Urindanger got his money in good when he flopped a straight draw to go with his pocket queens against Postflopaction’s wrap straight draw. Unfortunately Postflopaction found running back-door straight cards to land a $128k pot.

Postflopaction won a monster pot when he flopped a two-pair with a flush draw against Urindanger’s middle pair with a dominated flush draw. The stacks went in on the flop and Postflopaction rivered the higher flush to win a $164k pot.

Urindanger won his biggest pot of the session when he flopped a two-pair with flush draw against Postflopaction’s top pair with a dominating flush draw. All the money went in on the turn when Postflopaction caught a smaller two-pair and he missed his 13 outs on the river sending Urindanger a pot worth $157k.

Isildur1 once again graced the Fulltilt felt with his presence but to no avail as he dropped $110k deeper into the red. URnotINdanger2 dampened the railer’s hopes of an epic Isildur1 comeback slightly more when he took the last action hero for $24k in 963 hands of $50/$100 NLH.

Isildur1 makes a great call or too loose a call? You decide. Isildur1 flopped middle pair against URnotINdanger2’s king high with a gut shot. URnotINdanger2 semi-bluff reriased the flop, semi-bluffed at the turn where he added a flush draw to his hand and then fully bluffed the river where neither hand improved. Isildur1 picked off the huge river bluff to win the $21k pot. Personally I think there was a lot of bluffs in URnotINdanger2’s range for the all in on the river so would side with a great call.

Isildur1 lost a big pot when flopped top pair with a queen kicker against URnotINdanger’s top pair top kicker. Isildur1 check-raised the turn all in and the river brought him no help, sending the $26k pot to URnotINdanger2.

URnotINdanger2 squeezed maximum value from this hand when he flopped a straight-flush draw against Isildur1’s bottom set. URnotINdanger2 patiently called the flop and turn bets before spiking the flush on the river and calling an all in from Isildur1 to win a $20k pot.
