Patrik Antonius has taken another hammering at the ‘durrrr challenge’ tables on Fulltilt as he resumed play with Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan on Monday night to log another 883 hands. Durrrr managed to bag his second 6-figure challenge win in a row as he ended the session $315k better off which has now boosted his lead to $1,392,760.50 over the 32,795 hands played so far.
Durrrr won his biggest pot when he flopped bottom pair against Patrik’s wrap straight draw. The turn gave durrrr trips and he check-called a 2nd barrel from Patrik. The river delivered a full house for durrrr and he opted for a bluff inducer, check-calling a massive 3rd barrel air-ball from Patrik to take down the $146k pot.
Patrik pulled off a monster bad beat when he flopped bottom two-pair with a gut shot straight draw against durrrr’s nut set. Patrik check-raised the blank turn all in and received the bad news that only a 5 could save him with only 3 left in the deck. Sure enough the river peels a 5 for Patrik to take the $151k pot.
Durrrr flopped the nut straight and was a 40% dog to Patrik’s two-pair with a straight-flush draw…only in PLO! Durrrr maximized his value by just bet-calling the flop and getting the majority of his stack in on a blank turn as a 60% favourite, but poker gods once again favoured Patrik as he caught his nut-flush on the river to scoop the $124k pot.
Durrrr caught a deck as cold as they get when he just called a bet preflop with pocket kings against Patrik’s pocket aces and they both flopped a set. The turn added the 2nd nut flush draw to durrrr’s monster hand and the nut flush draw to Patrik’s as they both happily moved all in. Durrrr missed his 1 out on the river and Patrik took down a $115k pot.

mmm..
patty’s on a cold streak……hope he can come back up
Durrrr is such a sick person, in a good way!!!
Dwan is a better player. I saw him call an Antonius bluff on TV recently. Antonius bet $80,000 on the River with Ace High and Dwan called with the second best pair and took the pot.
I don’t know how long this will continue but I do hope these guys are using proper bankroll management. It doesn’t look good for Poker if someone goes from riches to rags.
So basically, this article is saying Dwan killed the session against Antonius AND if Antonius wouldn’t have gotten VERY lucky a couple of times there would have been over a Half Mill swing.
are you fucking kidding licentia?
PLO is supposed to be PA’s best game which means nobody in the world can barebly have an edge against PA. looks like PA’s multi table HU skills pulled PA back.
I love Durr but i think PA goes equilibrate this…
I beat Durr in NL HU…
the challenge is up…
;I)
“are you fucking kidding licentia?”
yah really….
and also….it’s crazy that PA ran so hot and still lost a bunch….tells me that Durrr is really zoned in right now….
Durrrr is the best in my opinion, but he undeniably at least one of the best. I think it’s badass that he would offer a 3:1 payout to anybody willing to accept his challenge.
