Isildur1 exacted a little revenge on Tuesday night when he took on his arch-nemesis, Brian Hastings, for a re-match at Fulltilt’s nosebleed PLO tables and emerged victorious with a $505k win. The fearless Swede was only on his 2nd day into a massive heater but left railers drooling as he also bested his rematches against Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan and Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies to finish the day off with a whopping $928k profit.
Isildur1 and Brain Hastings battled it out over 926 hands of $300/$600 PLO resulting in Isildur1 cleaning up after 1.5 hours of play.
Brian lost the biggest pot of the session when he moved all in as a 2/1 favourite with pocket kings against Isildur1’s 4 connecting cards. Brian managed to hit a set on the river but unfortunately it also completed Isildur1’s straight to win a $274k pot.
Just 2 hands later, Isildur1’s luck continued as an action flop gave him a wrap straight draw against Brian’s top set and they moved all in. Isildur1 spiked his straight on the turn which held up to win another big pot worth $120k.
Isildur1 flopped the world when he caught the nut straight with a flush draw however Brian wasn’t far behind with a live gut shot straight draw and nut flush draw. The river filled both their flushes and Brian took down a $182k pot with the nuts.
Isildur1 missed a lot of outs when he called all in on the flop with the nut straight-flush draw against Brian’s pocket queens with a dominated flush draw. Neither hand improved by the river and Brian won a $233k pot.
Isildur1 found a solution to flopping set under set, turn quads! Brian understandably bet his full house on the turn and river, losing a $120k pot to a cooler.
Isildur1 is now riding a $1.8m upswing but is struggling to get NLH action from the pros at the nosebleed stakes and continues to venture in to hazardous territory with PLO. It is working out this week but his stats in both games speak for themselves.

Are pros seriously that scared to play Isi HU NLHE? Kinda speaks volumes about their own incompetence.
@MadJukes it speaks more volumes about Isi playing way over his bankroll, the next time he gets a little bit unlucky he’ll be broke again.

If he had discipline he would be up over 9mill. Isildur1 needs to force the pros to give him action at NLHE HU. If the wanna play you at PLO, demand first they play NLHE HU 6 tables!
Pro’s aren’t scared of him, but if he’ll play them in PLO and you’re Brian Hastings, why mess with a good thing?
FWIW he played NLHE against Ivey and PA and was beat during his last run.

Its smart not to give him action in NLHE. Why give him action in a game that he’s good at if he’s willing to give you action at PLO, a game he’s terrible at?

Overrated imho, just because he plays stakes where he doesnt belong. Dont say hes donk/bad, but hes worse than the best ones.
Anyway, sad think is, that nobody is playing holdem 50/100 or higher, this omaha is so boring, u just have everytime some outs.
And it also seems that pros are afraid of playing HU NLHE with isildur. Or well see some action?
