Patrik Antonius has managed to pull back some of his $2m loss from the last week as he took to the nosebleed tables on Fulltilt to play 344 hands of $300/$600 PLO on Tuesday afternoon and came out $417k better off. Gus Hansen was the main benefactor in this session, dropping $383k after being dealt some tough flops and losing numerous coin flips to Patrik.
Patrik won his biggest pot of the session when he managed to get over half his stack in the middle with pocket kings in a 3 way pot against Gus with pocket 10’s and durrrr with Q high. Patrik moved all in when he flopped top set and durrrr had an easy call with his middle pair with a flush draw as he was getting 6/1 pot odds. The river improved Patrik’s set to a full house to take down a pot worth $140k.
Gus couldn’t get away from a cold flop when he caught a two-pair against Patrik’s middle set. All the money went in on the flop and the turn and river brought Gus no help sending Patrik another healthy pot worth $107k.
Patrik hit a dream flop when he caught quads against Gus’s pocket kings in a 3bet pot. Once again Gus led out on the flop and was quickly reraised all in by Patrik who had him drawing almost dead. Gus missed his 819/1 draw for Patrik to take down the $66k pot.
