As August nears its end, several players at 25/50 NL are looking to finish with some very impressive monthly profits. Leading them all as of this writing was oovoo99, who has been an absolute beast on the iPoker network in August.

The heads-up specialist now has nearly $220,000 in monthly earnings and a blistering 19.52 BB/100 win rate over more than 11,000 hands. All month long, oovoo99 has been putting up five-figure winning sessions like this one and his profits are piling up.
In many other months, x6th_street’s $184,442 in winnings would be enough to earn a UGL badge. But he’ll have to do even better if he wants to pick up the title in August, as his impressive total only puts him in second place at the moment. x6th_street plays a relatively loose style for 6-max and full-ring games, but it seems to work as his opponents don’t give him a lot of credit when he does pick up a big hand. Here we see him get it in pre-flop with ace-king against ace-ten and scoop a pot worth nearly $13,000.
With just over $162,000 in winnings, Sauce123 could also pick up a UGL title in many months, but not this August. Despite adding another $56,000 to his profits since last week, the PokerStars regular still sits in third place on the 25/50 NL leaderboard. In this particular hand, Sauce123 outflops his opponent with trip deuces against pocket nines and rakes in a $9,000 pot.

Over at 10/20 NL, aejones continued to climb up the leaderboard and, as of this writing, sat in first place with nearly $59,000 in monthly winnings. The established pro has improved his position each week for the past three weeks and now looks like a favourite to take down the UGL title for August. This recent, brief session helped his cause, as he picked up nearly $7,600 in just 50 hands.
Meanwhile, Klo44, who led the field last week, sat in second place this week, about $1,200 behind aejones. The PartyPoker regular was down about $6,000 in the past seven days, largely as a result of this heads-up session in which he lost just over $4,300.
Steady in third place was TooBusyStackin, who hasn’t put in any hands at 10/20 NL in the past week.

| TheoDorand | Poker Stars | $37,804 | 29,574 | 6.39 |
And at 5/10 NL, ZepHendrix has battled his way to the front of the pack in true grinder fashion. The PokerStars regular wasn’t even in the top five last week but with just over 50,000 hands played in August so far, he sat atop the profit list with $49,301 in monthly winnings, as of this writing. About 21,000 of those hands came in a poker-intensive period between Aug. 22 and Aug. 25. With that kind of volume in such a short time, it’s no wonder ZepHendrix already holds the PTR “Zombie” badge. Now he’s looking strong to add a UGL badge to go along with it.
Hot on his heels, however, was Lillifee. This PartyPoker player picked up an additional $12,000 in winnings at 5/10 NL since last week and currently sits less than $1,300 off the lead. Some good fortune never hurts, of course, and Lillifee was lucky to win this three-way pot, getting it all-in pre-flop with ace-king suited against ace-six suited and pocket kings and making a flush on the river.
And in third place was TTR189O603I456, who’s had a hot run in late August. One session in particular on Aug. 22 netted the iPoker regular just over $10,000, thanks in large part to hands like this one, where he flopped a flush draw and ended up backing into a straight, calling his opponent’s bets all the way.
