Ongame Network Review
According to Ongame's official website, they are the world’s leading B2B online poker provider, serving partnes including bwin, Betfair, Betsson and Unibet. The Ongame Network is a popular, high-volume network that is fully tracked by our website. The traffic is high, the rewards are innovative, the software is smooth, and the tables are action packed.
Traffic
According to PokerScout.com, Ongame ranks 5th in the world for cash game traffic with a 7 day average of 2,050 players and peaking at 4,587 players. Anyone should be able to consistently find a wide variety of games available any hour of the day up to the mid stakes level.
Rewards
In order to determine the distribution of” Player Points”, Ongame uses the “essence” reward system which takes into account many factors. Some of these include contributed rake, style of play, and win-rate. For instance, losing players are rewarded by receiving a higher proportion of the rake which leads to more player points and rewards. As a result, the model takes into account a person’s contribution to the poker ecology opposed to systems that reward tight and nitty play. This suggests Ongame is doing its best to balance the odds to keep the casual player on their site. As recreational players are one of the main drivers of deposits and profitability of the game, it is important to keep them playing at the tables.
Quality of Games
Given that many large sports books are head of the Ongame advertising chain, it logically follows that the games include many recreational poker players who come from a sports betting background. In addition, with the help of the essence system which encourages recreational play, the games can be very desirable for many players looking to profit. In fact, according to Ongame, only 6 months after the inception of the “Essence System” recreational players had increased by 8 percent on the network. With this increase in casual players, this means more money for everyone else at the table.
Rake
| 2 players | $1.00 |
|---|---|
| 3-4 players | $2.00 |
| 5+ players | $3.00 |
With a 5% take for any NL game above $0.10-0.20. This puts Ongame on par with the industry average in regards to how much rake is being taken.
Software
Ongame’s software has a unique feel with many customizable options. The games run smoothly for multi-tablers, and there are a wide variety of options that allow players to resize, attach, and detach tables. Players can choose to have their avatar displayed or keep their table clean with the avatar hidden. As there are no waitlists, players can jump in many games at once without having to sit through long waiting lists that occur on many other sites.

The software is also has a Mac version and mobile app, so players have a wide variety of ways to get their game on.
All of the standard poker tracking software, such as Holdem Manager and PokerTracker 3, are fully functional with OnGame so players can keep track of their play and evaluate their game.

I don't like that you posting a bogus "review" which is really a promotion. You neglected to mention they have possibly the worst software in the poker industry even after upgrading it.
not the best sw in the world, but definitely not the worst, 888 and party are worse and blowdog has no preferred seating.
it works well enough for multi tabling although the action is a little hard to follow.
ps, check out http://ongamemods.com/ if you think the software is terribad, this might make it less so :)
