iPoker Splits Micro to Mid Stakes NL Games

Earlier this week, the iPoker split finally took place, although their hasn't been much clarity as to what it means or what has actually been separated.

Thus far it seems that the split is across No Limit cash and SNG tables from micros to mid-stakes, although this may change in future updates. The guys over at PokerFuse have done a great job of compiling an iPoker Split FAQ about the split, and we recommend all our iPoker members check the article out to see how it affects them.

On our end, we're monitoring the situation and will provide updates on how this affects your player profiles. So far, we estimate that roughly 30% of hands for the iPoker network as a are played on iPoker 1 rooms.

Overall, the split should result in softer games on iPoker 2, now that the rakeback grinders of some of the smaller iPoker 1 skins are being forced to fight it out with each other without the opportunity to take advantage of the new players joining every day via the player acquisition efforts of the larger skins.

BlankRainbow secured the top spot at $1/$2 for July with $12K in profit over an impressive 66,385 hands. Equally impressive are Neverover_EV's results for the month. Though he was just short of top honors, he earned a substantial $11,964 in a staggering 148,071 hands. His June is continuing the upward trend and after a colossal breakdown in the last quarter of 2011, he seems to be back on top of his game. February 2012 UGL

Results for February 2012 UGL 200NL, 400NL and 600NL:

Pokerstars regained its dominance at the 1/2 UGL leaderboard, with Stars grinders claiming all top 5 spots. Mayo the Don followed up a 4th place finish in January by winning his first very well-deserved UGL badge. He won $16,264 with a solid 5.82 BB/100 winrate, beating out the 2nd place finisher Ice_Fruit88 by over $2k. Platoniko finished 5th in the UGL by grinding out a staggering 120,214 hands at $1/$2 in the month of February. His almost $12k in earnings to show for this hard work doubled his lifetime earnings to just over $24,000.
