UGL: sleepingtom Heater Dominates $1/$2 HU

sleepingtom won $9,388 over just 19,512 hands to start out this month as the $1/$2 NL leader. This heads up player is relatively new with results that only stretch back to September. His lifetime win rate is 8.16 BB/100 over 71k hands played and is sitting on a 12.03 BB/100 heater so far this month. Can this continue? (more…)
UGL: Cmulls14 and lydia12345 in Tight Race
Monday, October 19th, 2009A tight race is heating up this month at $.5/$1. Last month’s winner, lydia12345, is in second place only two buy-ins behind the leader CMulls14. In head to head play, these two have faced off in 691 hands with lydia12345 getting the best of it up $44. With twelve days left Lydia has a great chance to become our first two time winner.

UGL: SeriAceSback Still On Top
Monday, September 14th, 2009SeriAceSback maintains his lead at $1/$2 NL. SeriAce tacked on another 40k hands in six days while slightly increasing his win rate. This human robot will not be stopped if he continues this pace but something tells me we won’t be seeing him very long at $1/$2.

A new month for the UGL
Tuesday, September 8th, 2009New faces find themselves atop the Ultimate Grinder Leaderboard to start September. SeriAceSback began putting in huge volume Sep. 2nd at $1/$2 NL on Party Poker and immediately started dominating the action. In his incredible 72,779 hands so far this month he has earned $9,411 for a 3.17 BB/100 winrate, very healthy for that kind of volume. His play was extremely solid except for this hand (Pot:$895.40), which seemed a bit spewey. What do you guys think?
