This guy has the craziest swings i've ever seen.. He's shown incredible talent, but can he hold onto his profits? Only 4 months ago he was up $5 Mill. Then he took an $8M down swing in 1 month. This month he makes his return to the nosebleeds and turns a $1.8 Million profit yesterday!

It's crazy and fun to watch. What do you guys think, will he go broke or will he get the $10M top hat one day?

I still want to know who this guy is. A lot of people like to say Viktor Blom, but Blom's publicly denied that, and has been seen in tournaments while Isildur1 is playing online, so can't be him.

My guess is that he's an unknown that tried not to make a splash until he was ready to take on the big names.

Yeah, but those are Euro tournaments where you don't have to be 21 I think. Unless you meant Blom was seen physically at the table while Isildur was seen online, ie, Clark Kent being seen somewhere at the same time as Superman.

I thought I read the "publicly denied" news post was actually bogus and that the name of the guy they called to get that denial was Victor Blom (age 50-something) and not Viktor Blom (age 19). Here's a link to where I saw that:

Still not much to go on. As far as online play, they're nothing alike, but that's not definitive.

Isildur1 plays quite a bit like martonas, but that's not definitive either.

after what i've seen today i cant see how hes made his money back. Happily calls an all in pre flop with Q9s? calls 2/3 pot bets on flop and the turn with gut shot with a flushed board? i think hes just some loony whos won the lottery. i creally dont believe that hes viktor blom, i mean does viktor blom really have that sort of bankroll? that he can be 3m down and still play at 500/1000nl ?

1. He has not been seen online and live at the same time (Isildur1 and Viktor Blom)
2. he owned Cole South today, not running over EV.
3. He is currently $500K up, not $3M down.

I just figured he was back this month because Tony G followed through on his talk to stake him. If that's true, then he probably has a couple of million to play with and even at 1.2 down in total earnings today, that's 1.6-1.7 million up from where he started when he got his bankroll back.
