Harder to deposit now...

If you've noticed it's pretty much impossible to deposit using US credit card, I tried it this morning to see if it was enforced, and it doesn't go through...

In my opinion, if it's my money I should be permitted to spend it on anything I like. Debit cards are the new cash of today. So if I choose to utilize that method of payment, which is touted as being the most secure, why tie my hands by deciding what I can or cannot purchase? Credit is one thing, the bank loaning the money should have a right to decide how those funds can be spent. However when the money is mine, I should be able to light it on fire if I want, which by the way is illegal as well lol.

We Americans are becoming suffocated by legislation that are described as being methods to protect us from ourselves. Deciding how and where we can spend our own money is not protection, it is domination that directs money into more profitable avenues for the individuals holding our money. I have no problem if a company limits deposits into a gambling business. Gambling is a real problem for some people. But outright legislation to halt it all together, that is taking it too far.

I will say it is odd if you're in Vegas and need funds for gambling. It is quite easy to pull out a piece of plastic and continue the vacation. You want to do the same online? Forget it, that company is not paying taxes in the US or didn't donate to my election fund, give me a break!

And I put in some money, through the wire transfer and my bank got mad at me and sent me 3 notifications about how its illegal, and a long law thing, and it tells me on top of the bank statement as well. They still went through though... lol.

I don't think it will do much. They aren't going to reverse a law like that.. just doesn;t even seem possible.

you can still deposit using a credit card the an ewallet like "usemywallet" on fulltilt. It may get blocked the first time you use it but if you call the bank that issues your credit card and tell them "you are trying to make a mail order purchase from a merchant outside of the united states" they will let it go thru. Just don't tell them its gambling related.

I believe prepaid Visas still work on most sites. I purchased a Green Dot prepaid card from Walgreens and it works like a charm on my cake poker account. But please note that the temporary card you purchase from the actual store will not work. You have to wait about a week until they send you the permanent card.
