Introducing PTR Link!

We are proud to introduce a new feature here on PTR that will give players more control over their profiles. PTR Link (in its beta release) allows members to take control of their PTR poker player profiles, gaining access to customization functionality, with even more awesome features and tools to come!

PTR Link is open to any members who have a poker account on one of our featured networks. These include Party Poker, OnGame, iPoker, Merge, and Cake. All you have to do is visit your PTR player profile page and click on the ‘Link This Profile’ button (you can also do this from your MyPTR page directly). You'll be given a unique set of instructions to complete (such as “sit at any NL10 table with $5.43”). Once we’ve spotted you at the table, you’ll be confirmed as the profile owner.

The first customization features include the ability to add an avatar and biography as well as the power to moderate comments. The comments you make on your profile will be highlighted and will appear under your poker screen name, allowing you to engage in discussion directly with your poker fans!

There are many more features in the works and we’re excited about the potential that PTR Link provides our users – things like extended customization and privacy settings.

Some tips for new users:
- images may take a few minutes to appear on your bio page
- OnGame players will have to strategically sit in and out at the tables to avoid blinds while being scanned - sitting out prevents us from confirming your stack size
- some 1c/2c tables have a minimum 50bb stack requirement - if you can't confirm the link, it will expire and you can attempt a new one. The table stack instructions have a range starting at 40bb and a variety of tables, so chances are you'll get a stack you can sit with

I keep getting an error message when trying to update my profile and enter a picture. It says: "form elements must not have name or id of submit"

What does this mean??

What room are you trying to link your profile for? Please let me know via pm the profile URL and the bio text that you are trying to add and I can look into why you're getting that error message.

I have the same problem linking my account to PartyPoker. First I thought it my be related to photo format, but I can't save just text on my bio either.

Seems like it's taking a while for the photos to get uploaded - we'll take a look at the issue on Monday.

In the meantime, please feel free to pm me your poker screen names and I can take a look at your individual cases.

Currently, I am unable to link myself to my iPoker PTR profile. I am asked to sit with $0.83 at 2NL. However, ALL iPoker 2NL tables are 50bb min. Can this please be resolved?

Also, I said my iPoker account was with Boyle but the instruction popup shows "Titan" which is somewhat confusing.

Thanks for the info Donkey41 - we'll adjust the iPoker limits to 50bb minimum, as well as the suggested poker room. For the most part, you can sit at your chosen iPoker room and we'll be able to match your name with your account.

in Safari - ok, but no foto with 24 hours appear

On mine I can see the pic that I uploaded when I search my name but no one else can see it, is it supposed to be that way, only I can see it?
