pure_pr0f1t: I respect his work ethic, he probably works harder than any other player. Although I believe he has hit the pinnacle of his playing abilities. If you don't grow and learn you will get eaten by the other players. He does not try to be the best, just good enough to win consistently. His efforts are to minimize mistakes and to maximize profits but it has come at the expense of improving, mistakes is where we learn.

Dusty "Leatherass9" Schmidt is a member of Team PokerStars Online. The screen name is reference to grinding from the movie "Rounders".

Dusty was a professional golfer who suffered a heart attack at the age of 23. During rehabilitation, he started playing poker. In 2007, Dusty reached PokerStars SuperNova Elite status in under 8 months. In 2007 and 2008, he posted the world's highest win rate in $5/$10 NL and $10$20 NL. He is an ultimate grinder and renowned for his ability to play long online sessions. Even more impressive is the fact that he's never had a month without profit in his entire poker career.

Dusty writes for CardPlayer, released a book, is a coach on BlueFire Poker, and is a co-founder of Imagine Media. He also founded the House of Cards Project to provide food and shelter to the underprivileged families.
